In response to the action of the water factor, mechanisms of central neuroendocrine regulation begin to work in the body, metabolic processes intensify, biochemical reactions, and microcirculation are enhanced.
Warm baths reduce the tone of blood vessel walls, improve heart contractions, and have a hypotensive effect. To enhance the effect, sodium chloride, iodine, and bromine are added to the water. In pediatric practice, coniferous, pearl, and saline baths are recommended as sedative treatment methods.
At the Health Resort Complex 'Pearl of Russia,' so-called 'color' baths with added mineral salts are used:
- Pink - aromatized toning;
- Green - aromatized coniferous, calming;
- Blue - aromatized general tonic.
The salt composition includes minerals (potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate), natural essential oils of medicinal plants, a solution of bitophyte, extracts of seaweed, natural dyes, as well as a complex of vitamins: A, E, K, H, PP; micro and macroelements: Na, Mg, K, Ca, Ag, Zn, Mn, Cu, and others, phytoncides, bioactive substances.
