Resort Fee Information
In accordance with the law of the region dated 27.11.17 No. 3690-KZ "On the introduction of a resort fee in the territory of the Krasnodar Territory...", the resort fee is introduced in the region from July 16, 2018.
Who pays:
Individuals over 18 years of age staying in accommodation facilities for more than 24 hours.
Exemptions from paying the fee:
- Disabled people of I and II groups;
- Accompanying persons of disabled people of the I group and children with disabilities; Low-income families, low-income single residents;
- Arriving for medical care or medical rehabilitation; Permanent employees in the fee collection area;
- Having the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Russian Federation, or full bearers of the Order of Glory;
- Holders of the titles of Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation or Hero of Labor, awarded the Order of Labor Glory of the third degree;
- World War II veterans; Veterans of combat actions; Awarded the badge "Resident of Blockaded Leningrad";
- Those who worked during World War II at anti-aircraft defense facilities, local anti-aircraft defense, etc.;
- War veterans;
- Family members of deceased (deceased) war invalids, World War II participants, and veterans of combat actions;
- Those exposed to radiation as a result of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster, as well as due to nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site, and persons equated to them; Tuberculosis patients;
- Students up to 24 years old on a full-time basis in educational organizations in the fee collection area;
- Permanent residents in the fee collection area;
- Owners of residential houses/premises (shares) in the fee collection area;
- Athletes, coaches, judges, as well as other specialists in the field of sports.
Resort fee amount:
In the Krasnodar Territory, from one individual over 18 years old, staying in an accommodation facility for more than 24 hours, the fee will be 30 rubles per day from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022.
How to collect and pay the fee:
Fee operators - hotel business organizations are obliged to calculate and transfer the fee to the budget of the region. The operator must issue a document to the individual confirming the payment of the fee.
If it is impossible to withhold the fee, the resort fee operator must, no later than 5 working days from the date of receipt of the refusal to pay the fee, notify the authorized body in writing of the impossibility to withhold the resort fee. In addition, operators are required to keep records of fee payers/non-payers in compliance with the requirements of the Federal Law of 27.07.06 No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data". Failure to pay the fee by individuals is subject to a fine ranging from 500 to 2000 rubles. Violation by the operator of the procedure and terms of calculation and collection of the fee entails the imposition of a fine on legal entities or individual entrepreneurs in the amount of 5 to 15 thousand rubles.
